The University ICT Services (UIS) is a central services directorate that develops applications and provides ICT support to students and staff at the University.
The directorate’s mandate is to deliver ICT services as well as enable the University to utilize ICT as a key enabler in the provision of education services.
The directorate aims to enhance Uganda Christian University’s vision as a center of excellence in the heart of Africa through the provision of cutting-edge ICT solutions, software, and the provision of quality solutions that are sustainable.

Our Team
The Directorate is comprised of three sections; Infrastructure, systems, and software development.
Infrastructure Section
This team is responsible for all the installation, configuration, and maintenance of all network devices like routers, switches, computers, Access points, cameras, etc. at the University.
Systems Section
This team is responsible for all the software, systems, and services installed on all the networking devices at the University.
Software Development Section
This team is responsible for the development of mobile and web applications.
